Balloons vary in size up to 20 feet in length or diameter and come in 5 varieties: Backpacks, Giant Ball Balloons, Spheroids, Blimps and Custom Shapes. Some can be used indoors and outdoors but require helium. Some are designed specfically for indoor use and don't require helium. Others can only be used outside. Read on to decide which option is best for you.
Backpacks
Backpacks are custom made so that a person can carry a large illuminated NightLight balloon through a crowd, indoors or outdoors, day or night. They are ideal for live events, rallies, trade shows or even the high street because they carry your marketing message above the people's heads.
Backbacks are simple to setup and easy to wear. They are designed to allow freedom of movement and maximum exposure for your marketing message. The battery is built in and comes with a charger. It weighs less than 12 pounds and has a battery life of between 45 minutes to an hour per charge. Illumination is provided by two 35W halogen bulbs.
There are 3 balloon types available and no helium is required: spheroids (pictured), balls and cylinders. Spheroid are a flattened elipse or lollipop shape with a 33 inch circular digital print area, which works well indoors. Balls are your more typical balloon shape which works best for vinyl prints. Cylinders are ideal for suggesting a can effect, for example to promote soft drinks.

Giant Ball Balloons
A well designed advertising balloon is a brilliant and cost-effective way of getting your logo or message to thousands of potential customers. They float above other distractions, have motion, and cannot fail to be noticed.
Our giant ball balloons are inflated with helium and can be used indoors or outdoors. They range from 5 ft to 20 ft in diameter but we recommend that for outdoor use, you order a ballon of 8 ft or above.
Giant ball balloons come in wide range of vibrant colours which are especially effective when combined with vinyl prints (see examples above). You can also print graphics digitally but only on white (see examples below), however you can brighten up designs by adding alternating coloured panels (below right). Most giant ball balloons can be illuminated with one of our halogen light kits or fitted with nylon covers for extra durabilty. Contact info@skyboards.co.uk for more details on these options.
Spheroids
Spheroid balloons are specifically designed for indoor use and are a flattened elipse shape, a bit like a giant Smartie. The use less helium and have a larger printing area than a conventional balloon of the same diameter.
They are perfect for digital prints which can only be applied to a white surface (see example above). Colour can be added ro spheroids by adding polyurethane panels but for colour balloons, viny prints work best (see Scope example above).
Spheroids range from 7 ft to 20 ft in diameter and, like most of our balloons, come in a variety of vibrant colours - blue, green, orange, purple, red, yellow, black and white. Visit our photo gallery for many more examples.
Blimps
Blimps are eye-catching, easy-to-use and come in a wide variety of body and tail-fin colours. Just add helium and attach the tether lines then let the blimp do the work. They are easy to inflate and can be stored and used again. You can also light up your blimp with one of our halogen light kits or attach pennants to increase impact.
Blimps are suitable for both digital prints (see Google example above) and vinyl prints (see Coca Cola Zero). Digital graphics can only be printed on white, however you can add alternate coloured panels as in the Street Fighter IV example below.
Blimps can be used indoors or outdoors depending on which size you order.

Custom Shapes
Custom balloons allow your imagination to run wild and create something truly unique. Anything from football shirt shaped balloons to giant piggy banks can be made to order. If you want to promote a beverage, why not reproduce a bottle or can in balloon form? Other examples include giant pencils, killer whales, sharks, love hearts, strawberries and light bulbs that illuminate.
